We humans tend to make things too complex. There’s a great scene from the movie Say Anything, that demonstrates this perfectly. John Cusack’s character desperately tries to impress his love interest’s parents when they ask him what he wants to do with his life, by sounding both important, and good-intentioned at the same time. The result goes over like a fart in church. Judge for yourself:

“I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.”

Sounds like your hippie/granola friends in high school doesn’t it? You know, the ones that espoused the virtues of being park rangers, and moving to Montana, smoking lots of doobie, and eating magic mushrooms because they were “all natural” (when conveniently declining to eat poison ivy, even though it’s “all natural” as well)?
